Accommodations

At Ridge View Homes, we believe that a safe, supportive, and comfortable home environment is essential to helping individuals thrive. Our senior management team works in close partnership with landlords and property developers to identify and develop high-quality supported living properties that complement the bespoke care and support we provide. These partnerships enable us to offer homes that not only meet the physical needs of our service users but also promote independence, dignity, and a strong sense of belonging.

We are currently delivering care and support across five properties, four of which are shared accommodations located in the heart of the High Wycombe area. Each property has been carefully selected and adapted to create a safe, welcoming environment where our service users can lead fulfilling and independent lives.

Our supported living accommodations are designed for adults aged 18 and above who have a range of needs, including:

Each setting offers a warm, inclusive atmosphere where service users are encouraged to develop life skills, pursue personal interests, and build meaningful relationships.

Tenancy and Living Costs in Supported Living

All service users hold their own tenancy agreements with the landlord and are personally responsible for their utility bills and general cost of living. This may include full or partial furnishing of their home, as well as covering the cost of any repairs for damages—details of which are clearly outlined in their individual tenancy contracts.

To help cover these living expenses, service users may be eligible for a range of benefits and grants, including:

Attendance Allowance (AA)

In a supported living setting, individuals also cover the cost of their own holidays, which includes any additional staff support required. Just like anyone living independently, they are responsible for their own household bills and grocery shopping, along with any expenses incurred by staff while providing support—such as transport fares or activity costs.

It’s important to note that care costs are separate from the above expenses and are arranged directly with Ridge View Homes as the care provider.
